I arrive at my first dwelling, my first shelter, which is reflected in an object of memory: the diary. In this case it is a pregnancy diary written by my mother. Although the whole experience cannot be summarized in words, the diary is in itself a particular device and object in which there is a very intimate record: she writes down her thoughts and emotions, my movements, my growth. In addition to a diary, it is an archive, she pasted stickers and bougainvillea petals that help to oxygenate what has been preserved for so many years. This experience, writing and maternal voice, are my first dwelling: circular cartography that crosses and unifies all its pages in a single space.
